Quietly secluded and set off the street with its own pedestrian and rear laneway access, this stunning double storey character home will enchant you with its overwhelming charm and a unique hilltop position that affords spectacular valley views over Scarborough, including an amazing ocean vista to Observation City and Rottnest Island. This entertainer's dream doubles as the perfect family home with a sense of security and spaciousness. Warmed by extensive solid and recycled Jarrah to the floors, doors, arches, skirting and staircase, the interior is a haven of relaxation with soaring high ceilings adding to the feeling of comfort.
The lower level is home to two comfortable bedrooms, the family bathroom and a lounge with doors accessing a beautifully decked verandah where serene surroundings will allow you to enjoy a peaceful barbecue or simply extend the entertaining space.
A second floor master bedroom not only separates the parent's and children's wings, but also ensures the luxurious retreat has its own private balcony with a spectacular slice of the view along with a huge walk-in wardrobe with shelving and an ensuite with shower, toilet and a classic claw foot bath. Also upstairs, a very functional granite kitchen overlooks the commodious open-plan living and dining area and features ample storage, a breakfast bar for meals and quality appliances including a DeLonghi gas cook top, Whirlpool oven and AEG dishwasher. The conveniently located study allows you to work during food preparation, but the highlight of the home is the decked balcony off the open living area that enjoys the best view of all whilst also supervising the kids at play within the confines of a delightful backyard setting.
The ocean may be visible, but only a short journey separates this fascinating residence from Scarborough Beach and other amenities including schools, shopping, parks and public transport.
